Who are we?
The VDC Group is a collaboration of independent companies operating as advocates for the advancement/adoption of BIM and VDC in the modern construction industry.
We represent the precision field layout and measurement, draftsman, coordinators, prefabrication managers, building owners, MEPTF contractors, estimators, construction managers, architects, engineers, and the field install personnel who have a vested interest in improving the quality of buildings, speeding the pace of construction, cutting wasted material and labor, improving cost predictability, and cutting the total cost of construction.
Building construction is as old as human civilization and has been in a continual state of evolution ever since we changed the second hut based on what we learned from the first hut. We build buildings to live in, to work in, to learn in, to heal in, and to gather in.
VDC and BIM professionals are the stewards of this information management and transfer the same basic building processes that have been used for decades can be implemented in an environment that becomes more demanding by the year.
Each building is imagined by the owner, designed by the architects and engineers, and built by the builders and each stage of this process involves drawings and data as a means of communication.

It’s cheaper if I go with the companies outside of the U.S.
